People Helping People
2Succeed has a wonderful Peer Mentor Program that concentrates on helping people meet their goals. Peer Mentors provide service for 30 MHCD consumers.
What do they do?
Peer mentors
- work one on one with people who are struggling and need extra support
- help people get out into the community, become more social, learn to ride the bus, and focus on personal goals
- are people who know what it is like to have a mental illness and they share what they have learned through their journey
- are motivated to give back and are truly amazing people.
